Increasing competition requires investment
HABeR Energia sp. z o.o., a Polish family-owned company with over 40 years of tradition, manufactures low- and medium-voltage switchgear and transformer substations. In the era of Industry 4.0, the company faced growing competition—both global and domestic—as well as rising labor costs for electricians, a profession facing a labor shortage. Securing large, prestigious contracts required increasing production capacity and investing in proven technologies.

From the first machine to full automation
Our partnership with Evoltec began in 2011 with the purchase of a Komax Kappa 330. In 2018, as part of a project co-financed by the European Union, HABeR Energia opted for Evoltec’s flagship machine—the fully automated Komax Zeta 630. The decision was sealed by a visit to the Komax factory in Switzerland.
Key Elements of Implementation
- Versatility: processes up to 36 types of cables—crimping sleeves, precision cutting and stripping, MIL four-point terminals, and compacting.
- Integration with EPLAN: Production files are sent directly to the machine; the operator simply monitors its operation.
- Fully automated: pre-assembled, labeled, and tape-bound cable harnesses with no manual processing.
Measurable business benefits
- An increase in production efficiency of up to 50%.
- Elimination of errors through full process automation.
- Reducing the time required to install wiring harnesses and optimizing electricians' labor costs.
- Added marketing value—customers visiting the factory can see the machine in action, which reinforces their purchasing decisions.
Personal relationships and the assurance that we will receive prompt and effective support when needed are key to our collaboration.
HABER ENERGIA
Through the Eyes of an Evoltec Expert

We began our collaboration with HABeR Energia in 2011 with the implementation of the Komax Kappa 330. When the company was planning a larger investment, we recommended the Komax Zeta 630 instead of the mid-sized machine they were considering—a visit to our factory in Switzerland sealed the deal. Today, HABeR Energia is utilizing nearly the full potential of the machine.
